Hello hello! My name is Monique (27 and German) and I am looking for a room in a friendly flat sharing in Brussels
I spent the last two years in Paris studying International Development. Before that, I was living in different countries outside of Europe (working in the humanitarian sector) for a couple of years - so I have really experienced all kind of multicultural flat sharing compositions. I am looking for a sociable but easy-going environment - always enjoying spontaneous activities if they come up but also need some calmness here and there. I love things like cooking and baking (the outcomes of which I am happily sharing of course), flea market/second-hand hunting, or decorating places with small crochet works and plants. Otherwise, the German in me is always looking for opportunities to move outside (running, climbing, hiking, biking, walking... ANYTHING basically) - though I will see how that goes during the autumn/winter period in Belgium. I am always down for some board/card games as well I speak mainly English and German but my French isn't toooo bad and I can imagine living in a French-speaking environment (in case that matters).
I am moving the Brussels as I will start a (paid) traineeship on social protection policies from October onwards. So, ideally, I am looking for something from end of September though beginning of October can also work. Due to the traineeship, my period in Brussels is, for now, limited to five/six months.
