Hi! I’m Mariam — a 26-year-old Georgian-American communications specialist who’s about to make Brussels my new home for at least a year (hopefully longer!). I work in communications, which means I spend my days working on campaigns, managing social media and making other feeds look good online… though ironically, my own socials are a bit of a delightful mess.
I’m an outgoing and active person who thrives on community, fresh air, and good vibes — I love volunteering, swimming, catching sunsets, and discovering new places (preferably with good wine and great food). That said, I also really value quiet evenings and personal space. Think: extroverted energy with introvert appreciation.
I also recently got married! My husband will be spending time between Georgia and Brussels, but he won’t be living with me full time for at least the first six months — so I’ll mostly be on my own during that period as I settle into this new adventure.
