I’m Romain, 24, freshly graduated from my Master’s in Architecture at the TU Delft in the Netherlands. Since finishing my Master’s, I’ve been looking for opportunities in Belgium, and I’m very happy to say that I’ve just received an offer here in Antwerp! The only challenge is that the office needs me quite soon, so I’m ready to move in quickly, ideally as of now or by the start of November.
Thus, I am looking for a room in a shared apartment with also young professionals or people with similar interests as me.
During my studies, I’ve lived in several shared houses (in Montréal, Delft, and Zurich) with two to three housemates each time. I’ve really come to enjoy this way of living, and able to make it work with the shared responsibilities it involves (like keeping the place clean and tidy), and the balance between respecting each other’s space and spending time together.
I’m, of course, passionate about architecture, but also about design and art in general. I love going to the cinema, reading, and visiting galleries. I am in general quite calm and easy-going, but also quite chatty and love having a laugh!
For languages, I speak English and French, and a bit of German, but I’m hoping to learn Flemish once I’m there… Also because it would be nice for the job! :))
